We now have a chess club @ ACC soon to be Point University. As of February 10, 2011 SGA voted unanimously on the new chess club. All are welcome to come and participate whether you have experience or not. I am willing to teach all who are willing to learn.
Benefits of having a chess team will allow potential students to come a be a part of our school who are non athletic. It will even teach athletes to think ahead on the field or on the court. It is also good for remembering math formulas for those not so good at math. (hint)
I love this game and I know you all will once you learn, it allows you to use your brain in ways you never thought possible.
